Bellamy and Pennant are undoubtedly excellent players ( although Bellamy is just so GOOd to hate !), but both have their demons off the field! And they have been HUGE ugly demons , unfortunately! Bellamy seems to have settled down after getting married and Pennant must know this is his last chance. I think Pennant is such a talent. In a bad side last season, he maintained a constant high standard throughtout and just delivered quality crosses again and again and again. Just a question of will he cope with being a squad player I think. You would inmagine he is going to have to hope Luis Garcia doesnt keep him out I guess. I would prefer Pennant of the two.

You played Mainz and lost 0-5 but I have no idea of the strength of the side. Think it was 0-0 at half time and then you made a lot odf subs. Even if it was full strength, I would guess the priority was not to get injured in view of next weeks match. I think this is going to be a good season and I could see it being close between the top three.
