>What I find curious is that I have seen film of Geller bending a spoon but using none of the fake tricks involved. How is that explained? It is all well and good saying how he could have done it but that doesn't mean he cheated? I am open minded and will believe he is fake/real if proof exists. I am neither inclined to be one way or another.

But I say Geller pick up a spoon and hold it horizontally. he placed his index finger of hos free hand on the top of it and lightly ubbed up and down and it bent, it looked like it was melting!
Even if it was tampered with, the pressure was not that excesisve to cause it to bend and it didn't jsut snap, it melted. You saw it wobble and droop.

There was another guy who challenged him and said it had been tampered with and so he got him to pick ANY spoon and he did teh same.

How does Randi, or anyone explain taht? I'd love to know.
