It is important to remember humans are very visual animals. Magicians know this. So if you can present an
effect that "looks real" you are headed in the right direction. A wise magician knows he will see things that
are illusions. The only way to understand how the illusion is performed is to do magic and be taught magic from other
more experienced magicians. And even then, known methods can be given a distinctive twist so that they can go right by you. The important thing to remember is my senses are limited and I can easily be deceived. Magicians are masters in deception. It is wise to listen to them. It is the task of a magician to entertain and amaze you. Good conjuring looks like real magic. So how do you tell what's real? You gather information and stay very, very cautious.
