I just purchased Vol. 2 ... thanks! Even though I'm most likely going to use the Prairie Primer next year, I don't like the way the Science is scattered throughout the curriculum. So my plan is to use Vol. 2 as a basis for our Science study for the year. In addition, we'll get a better Fine Arts study than the Prairie Primer offers and some history/biographies while learning how technology has advanced over the years. It may sound like we'll be doing too much, but when I can pick and choose from each curriculum the topics my kids want to learn about the most, I think it'll be a great year!

My daughter is really wanting to do the Prairie Primer b/c we'll possibly be co-oping with 2 families in our neighborhood. However, my son isn't too thrilled about the Prairie Primer, but really wants to do Patchwork, Vol. 2. I figure I can accomodate both kids by pulling out info from both curriculums!
