I have too many names!! I am Liann here and at Vegsource Homeschooling. I am Carolie at Rest Ministries/Beyond Surviving Homeschooling Board (Liann was already taken on Yahoo), I am Mrs. Wright here also (just a joke really) and I am The_Inventor's_Mom on the Yahoo portion of Patchwork Primers board. By the way Sharon, is that still being used or are we just using this forum? (Just wondering).

Donna, you are right Rest Ministries is a wonderful blessing. I am glad that you read my posts and decided to check PP out. I have purchased volume 2 on Inventions and Discoveries. I guess you can figure out why by looking at my names. My 9 1/2 yr. old son is a budding inventor. We will possibly do volume 3 in the future. I don't know when we will begin American History and if we will end up using vol. 1 or not. It looks wonderful, but right now I want to teach to my boys interests. They are only in 3rd and 4th grades so I still have all of my options open. Right now I am basically taking curriculum decsions one year at a time. I find that my boys change so much from year to year that I can't successfully guess where they will be a year later. I do get lots of ideas and then pray and make decisions in March/April or May. The wonderful thing about PP is that you can gear it to their strengths and weaknesses and what level the kiddos are really at.

I wish I could answer your questions for sure Donna, but I think that is all the geography and history that you do for the week. Just the 3 or so lessons that are listed. That is the way vol. 2 is set up unless I am incorrect. Sharon please correct me if I am wrong. Donna, Sharon is very helpful and can give you the most accurate information. Kris is another helpful mom on here. I am blessed by both of them.
