Subject: It's good to be back in school!

We've been on summer break since May and we were both ready to get back to school. It is so nice to get back into the routine of learning. I really thought her brain had turned to mush during the break, but surprisingly, it all seems to be coming back.

This book about Louis Braille is especially interesting.

Since we were reading about early printing efforts, I also decided to incorporate our own printing, so she did some printing with vegetables. That was fun, too.

I still haven't taken the perfect picture yet. I thought I had it today when she was painting, but the camera battery was dead. Then we were going outside to do some pictures and it started raining. Maybe tomorrow!
