Anita,

I'm so glad your first week went well and you learned something that turned out to be useful. Just this weekend I found a book all about poisonous plants and insects in Florida and we were reading up on spiders. We've run across a lot of spiders in the abandoned house of the estate that we bought, and it was helpful to know which ones to be especially aware of. We've been very fortunate, but I was a little concerned when it said black widows aren't usually found except in uninhabited houses, and this one has been vacant for years.

Happy Homeschooling!
Sharon
