The girl he's hugging looks too old to be daughter age and too young to be girlfriend age. Although, the latter is more likely if at all. I'm judging from the chat board that Ashley would have been about 11 or 12 when Giblets came out. This girl looks to be about 18-22, the one he's hugging.

Ray, I guess would have been about 30 when that video was shot.

I'd have to watch it again, but the only little girl I saw I think was one I assumed to be Jade, the one who's tapping on Jake's shoulder while he's signing autograph.

You know, I liked Eric Singer's drummer a little better than Jeff's. The only other person I might've like to see in the band would be Jason Bonham or Mike Mangini. Mike's the better of the two. But Jason's style is a lot like his father's.

There's a scene in Giblet when Jake makes a little joke about the band not having a sense of humor, and for that split second Ray looks spaced out or at least he looked like his mind is somewhere else because he doesn't laugh at the joke. Not because it's not funny (which I didn't laugh either) but because he looks like he's thinking about something else. I alway wonder what he's thinking about. With him possibly knowing about his illness, my mind always wanders back to that as something that's on his mind. I'm not sure how much denial he was in. But I've heard he was in it.

Does anybody happen to know what the title Dag the Giblets means? My friend and I always say "dag" in place of "damn."
Or we say "dang."

Yes I know a man can contract AIDS from a woman. It's a little harder that way than the other way around, but it happens. Looka ta Magic Johnson. I believe they got sick around the same time. Or at least it was revealed (in hindsight, I suppose).

I know this may sound strange, but I must have been grieving or something--I dunno (and let me say "grieving" lightly because my grieving and his mother's grieving aren't the same. I wouldn't want to trivialize hers. But I feel it in my own way). Anyway, I bought a bunch videos and CDs, more than had I expected to because when the mail came I was suprised at how much I had bought. Then almost a week later a video came, and I didn't recall ordering it. Is that strange or what? It was all Badlands stuff.

Do you know what Ray's octave range was? I think it must have been at least 3-1/2 octaves.
