Subject: just a little feedback to Miss Zhao, i have seen 3 movies of yours since 9/2003

first it was "So Close", then "Shaolin" in May and "Warriors" in this month. I saw "So Close" 7 - 8 times; "Shaolin" 3 times; and "Warriors" 4 times within a week.

Personally, "So Close" was just ok, would be better without that laughable shattering glass in the beginning(that was so fake). Your acting was good, but not exactly enough. Missing something, I don't know what, hopefully you know by now.

I could only say if not because of your appearance, i would definitely have skipped "Shaolin Soccer". That was just not my type of movie. You were good in there, but your role was so outcast. I knew that was your assigned role - an outcast. But still it was hard to mix yours with the rest of the movie. I love "HZGG", and I believe from the bottom of my heart, you have the nature talent in comedy. I hope you can make one true comedy (your own comedy, not somebody's else comedy) in the future. A comedy that could make us laugh to, with and thru tears. Sometime, a silly comedy is the most difficult task for an actor. You have that ability to take that challenge. You have that in your repertoire! May be its time for you to revisit your creation of "Little Swallow". The success of "Little Swallow" was because of your OPENNESS - breaking all kinds of acting rules and came to your own terms. Don't forget that.

He Peng's "Warriors" was too small to you. I really wonder would he do differently with your participation, if given another chance? However, it at least told us a story with beautiful sceneries and music, not to mention many great characters including yours. Comparing to the previous 2 movies, I can see your improvements. Your eyes! Gosh, your eyes can kill people, don't you know that?

May be its time for you to try something new too. How about a villain? I am a little greedy but why not? You are so talented. By the way, I love your "Green Tea". You have shown us a little trace of being "bad" in it.
