listen here...
they posted the schedule for bonnaroo TN not too long ago... there are a lot of conflicts (in my opinion) with major bands playing at the same time as other major bands and not so major bands playing at the same time as other not so major bands. for example:

on june 13, ben harper, bela fleck, keller williams and sonic youth are all playing at approximately the same time while kid koala performs after all of their sets are over, and no one else is playing on any other stages!

on june 14, the allman bro's, mike gordon and leo kottke, and the roots are all performing at the same time in the evening while 8 or 10 not-as-well-known bands are playing at the same time earlier in the day.

on june 15, james brown, moe., and toots and the maytals are all playing at the same time, again with lesser known performers playing earlier in the day at the same time.

it makes more sense to me if they would have some of the more well known bands play at different times so we can all see all of their sets in the entirety. you know? like, switch a few of the lesser known bands with the conflicting scheduled bands and we all get to see everyone we want. of course, maybe thats the point. so everyone gets to see more of the well known bands AS WELL AS the lesser known bands, an eclectic mix of legends and hopefuls. but we did all pay good money for tickets .... take it as you will.

check out http://www.jambase.com/festivals/bonnaroo/page2.htm for more details on the schedule. if you feel it is neccessary to give the people at bonnaroo your feedback as to how you feel about the schedule, please do so, as i did. it may seem sort of useless to go to complain to the people bringing you the coolest festival in town but i know i would appreciate getting feedback from the very people coming to my coolest-festival-of-the-summer if i was one of the coordinators. the choice is yours.

-see you all in tennessee
