-- You can get into the campgrounds starting at noon on Thursday, the day before the show. I didn't show up really early last year, but I noticed that the traffic jam started very early on Thursday. I wouldn't wait too long to get down there because then you risk sitting in 15+ hours of traffic. But don't show up too early, because they aren't under any obligation to let you in. I think they have to do a lot of last minute site checks, ie, safety, security and other logistical concerns. So, you might just have to wait outside in traffic if you show up too early. But then again, you will be at the front of the line of traffic and not at the back with the majority of people....so that might not be a bad deal at all.
