the counter-attack missed his actually flesh, cutting his shirt. the first strike by krim was narrowly avoided-it took some manuvering and cost him minor scrapes. the second attack tangled in around his shins, and briar reacted by moving back, towards the water. banged and bruised, but nothing major. he struck twice more, once aiming for a punch to land on his opponent's cheekbone and the other was a stab at the blade hands. both attacks were performed at once. the theif allowed himself to be manuvered towards the lake...though subtlely.
