Diva- I don't wish that on anybody
Aria- me either, but she'll never understand what she's got until it's gone
Diva- I don't know why she treats Marcus like that
Aria- he's twice the man than Devonte and Jarrod put together if you ask me

Aria- if she can't cash it in at the bank she doesn't care
Tari- (peeps her head in) are you gonns eat?
They go into the kitchen to eat.
Latter on that day they go to the mall.
Tari- I wanna buy a new living room set
Aria- I wanna go find a new apartment
Tari- how about you Diva?
Diva- (fake smile) yeah, maybe me and Aria will be neigbors
Aria- yeah, that would be fun
Tari- maybe yall should move in together so that you'll have eachother for support
Diva- that would be cool ...what do you think Aria?
Aria- (smiles) Div you know I'd love to room with you
They walk to Rooms 2 Go.
Diva- oh gosh!
Aria- what?
Diva- is that Jarrod over there?
Aria- (nonchalant) with that other girl? Yeah that's him
Jarrod spots them, leaves his friend and walks over to them.
Jarrod- Aria I miss you so much come home
Diva- how can you miss her when you're all up in Rooms 2 Go with some other chic?
Jarrod- excuse me but nobody was talking to you and when are you gonna stop putting my home boy D through so much drama? He wants you back
Aria- Jarrod, I don't have time
Jarrod- how come you never have time for your man?
Aria- you are not my man
Jarrod- I want you Ria and you should know by now that I always get what I want
Tari- well you can't have her, what makes you think you can treat her any kind of way and expect her to come back to you?
Jarrod- Dang! Could you please tell your two side kicks to shut the hell up? They're giving me a head ache!
Aria- whatever Jarrod
Jarrod- I'm only giving you one more chance after this
Aria- okay, bye, go catch up with you chicken head before she tries to fly
Jarrod- I know you may not beleive me ...but I love you girl (walks off)
Aria- yeah and everybody else with a vagina
Tari and Diva laugh.
Tari- come on ...let's go find my living room set
They walk off and look through living room sets but she buys a new dining room set instead.
Diva- when are they delivering?
Tari- tonight
Aria- aiight ...we got time to find me and Div a place
Tari- come on ...let's go check out Emarald Gardens
Diva- I heard Nokio from Dru Hill used to live there
Tari- he did
Aria- when they first became famous
So they went to Emarlad Garden and found a nice spacious 2 bedroom condo. It had a pool, gym tenis and basketball court. But they couldn't move in for another 2 weeks.
Back @ Tari's house.
Tari- it looks like Jack the broke Ripper came and got some of his stuff, that I bought
Aria- (changing the subject) Diva me and you can go shopping next week to get all our furniture
Diva- I know ...it's gonna be so fun decorating
Aria- I know ...it was fun decorating my house with Jarrod
Diva- I moved in with Devonte and everything was already there ...i didn't bring anything ...and before I lived in a dorm
Tari- yeah that's right ...shoot ...I wish I didn't have to pay for everything in this house
Diva- when you and Marcus first moved here he was working and helped pay for the stuff
Tari- yeah ...but we changed furniture
Aria- so many times I can barely remeber
Diva- well ...I'm gonna go for a ride before the sun goes down and while the police is still out just incase Devonte gets even crazier
Tari- you sure it's safe?
Diva- yeah ...I got mace (she got her car keys and left)
Diva got in her car and put in a mix CD, she didn't get to listen to any of her music since she'd been there. The first song that came on was My Little Secret by Exscape.
Diva- dang ...I wish I would have kept me a little secret ...I wouldn't be in this situation
She drove downtown and thought she saw Marcus's car in an alley. So she drove towards the alley and noticed that it was Marcus, he go out of the car and went to the trunk. She got out and went over to him.
Diva- Marcus what are you doing down here?
Marcus- what are you doing down here?
Diva- running away
Marcus- same thing I'm doing
Diva- where are you sleeping tonight?
Marcus- in my car
Diva- why?
Marcus- you didn't hear what Tari said? She put all my business out
Diva- I could rent you a hotel if you want me to
Marcus- no I can't take your money
Diva- that's okay ...you can pay me back (she winks) when you get back on your feet
Marcus- so you believe in me but she doesn't
Diva- well Tari just doesn't realize what she's got
Marcus- but you do?
Diva- yeah ...I realize what she's got ...she should try hard to keep it ...anywayz ...I don't wanna see you sleeping in your car when I have the money for you to stay in a nice hotel
Marcus- I just don't understand
Diva- understand what?
Marcus- how Devonte could jeprodize loosing you
Diva shrugged.
Marcus- you're beautiful, smart, talented, caring, you've got the best heart and you're the sweetest person I know
Diva nearly blushed to death.
Marcus- you know ...Tari used to be that way when we first met
Diva- Devonte used to be that way when we first met, he used to care about what I wanted, but that's why I left him, anywayz ...let's go check you into a hotel
They got in their cars and Marcus followed Clara to the Hilton. They checked him in a room for a week.
In the room.
Diva- I'm gonna leave you with a hundred for food and stuff
Marcus- no you've already done too much
Diva- but I really wanna help you
Marcus- well help me get a job then
Diva- (thinks for a minute) yeah! I can do that
Marcus- (surprised) for real!
Diva- yeah ...if you sing on a demo you get paid ...if you write a song you get paid royalties
Marcus- what does that have to do with me?
Diva- simple ...I just wrote a duet but I didn't have a male to sing it ...you'd be perfect for it ...and we can record it in about a week, and it's this male group that works with my studio that wants me to write them a song, you can write it and get paid for it
Marcus- you'd do that for me?
Diva- no doubt
Marcus- thanks! Really ...thanks
Diva- no problem ...but I better get outta here ...I wanna get back to Tari's before dark
Marcus- alright ...see you latter
They hug and Diva leaves.
As she's walking down the hallway she has the urge to turn around she does and sees Devonte running after her. She takes off running and jams into a crowded elevator. She figured Devonte would run down the stairs and beat the elevator because he was in great shape, but her heart was beating too fast to think.
As soon as the elevator stops she runs off in the direction of the parking lot. She turns and sees Devonte right on her heels. She was running as fast as she could and she wasn't fast at all but Devonte was a 6 foot 6 track star. To get to the parking lot you had to go through a gate, Diva saw an opening and squeezed through but Devonte was too big to go through so he had to run all the way to the other side to go through the doors. This gave Diva a lead, she got to her car took out her keys and got in. As soon as she shut the door an out of breath Devonte was right at her window, she pressed the auto lock and all the doors locked. Devonte started fidgeting through his keys then Diva remembered he had a key to her car. So she cranked her car up and pulled out. She called Tari on her sell phone and told her to open the garage so she could park her car inside.
Tari- WHAT HAPPENED?
Diva- (hysterical) Devonte! He was chasing me!
Aria- where were you at?
Diva- downtown ...I went to get something to eat and he was there, I ran from him and he almost caught me! He has keys to my car ...I have to get the locks changed! Soon!
Tari- we'll do that tomorrow ...go get some rest ...I hate that niqqa
Diva went to sleep that night but had nightmares, she knew Devonte wouldn't give up until he got her.
