Druex looked up at Darnell’s smug face and immediately became furious. Darnell left out the restaurant and Druex followed him. Before anybody knew what was happening, Druex was beating the shit out of Darnell. Druex should’ve known that Darnell was jealous of him and would try anything to bring him down. Even take away the only girl Druex cared for.
Whoa! Where did that come from? Is Druex finally getting a heart? Naw it must be the anger talking.
Omari and Jarell pulled Druex off of Darnell and Mario held Darnell back cuz trust me his ass was ready to beat Druex down for busting his lips. “What the fuck is wrong with you?!” Darnell exclaimed.
“You just couldn’t handle me being with Talia could ya? It’s your fault she’s hurting right now. Yours!”
Shante walked in front of Druex and held her hand up. “Ok now Darnell may be a no good nigga but this ain’t his fault. It’s yours Druex. You were the one who agreed to the bet, you was the one who made my friend believe this lie about you really cared about her when all you cared about was the yard that was on the line. “
“That isn’t a lie Te. I do care about Natalia.”
“Well if that’s the truth why did you make the bet? Oh don’t tell me. It’s a man thing. I understand. Well all I know is that Natalia is at her place crying her eyes out over you. Why you I have no idea but she cares for you. So you better make this up to her or I’ll get Theo on yo ass,” Shante said before she walked off.
Druex gave Darnell, Velle, and Porky on last look before getting in his Grand Prix and speeding off.

Natalia laid on her bed, crying silently. She didn’t know how she could’ve been so stupid. She was usually more attentive than this. She didn’t even know him for more than a week but she trusted him completely. She wasn’t usually this emotional, but hell she felt like a damn fool. Druex had her in the palm of his hands like that. But not no more. No she was gon put him completely out her mind once and for all.
Oh who was she kidding? That could never work. You know why? Because Natalia was in love with Druex. Yep that’s right love. It didn’t take her that long but she knew that’s what it was. But Druex couldn’t know that. Because if he did, he could hold this invisible leash on her to make her believe him whenever he wanted her to. Natalia’s phone rang and she turned over to answer it. “Hello.”
“Talia it’s me Rell.”
“If ya calling me to give me a message from Druex I’m going to hang up right now.”
“He doesn’t know I’m calling. I just called to tell you he really does care for you and he’s sorry about what happened. Even before this fuckin’ bet he thought you were a dime.” Natalia scoffed. “It’s the truth. Listen…”
Before Jarell could finish, Natalia hung up. She knew that was harsh but hell she ain’t feel like dealing with anybody. Now now. She just wanted to mend her broken heart privately.

“So did it work?”
Jarell pocketed his phone and turned to face Morgan. “So you heard?”
Morgan nodded. “Yeah. So what happened?”
“She hung up on me.”
“She’s pissed. Trust me it takes a little time for a broken heart to heal.”
Jarell wondered whether Morgan was talking about Natalia or herself. “So what’s up?”
“I just wanted to see if we could go over to your house to talk. There’s still some business we need to take care of.”
Jarell nodded before leading Morgan to the car. But he was panicking. He ain’t know what to think about this at all.

Jerome jumped out his Benz and ran over to Kamesha. “Yo what’s wrong? Why ya page me?”
“Can we sit in your Benz?”
Jerome grabbed Kamesha’s hand and walked her to the car. After they were situated, Kamesha turned to face him. “I need to know why you like me.”
“I like you because you are intelligent, beautiful, athletic, funny, sweet, and becuz of the fact that you don’t need fancy shit to be happy. You’re real and that’s why I like you.”
Kamesha leaned over and kissed Jerome on the cheek. Hey! Hey! I told y’all this was like her first boyfriend so girlfriend gots to go slow. “You need to talk to yo fuckin cuz.”
Jerome laughed as he started his car up. “What happened now?”
“He hurt a friend of mine and I’mma bout go jack his ass up. Shit he don’t fuck with us and get away with it.”
“Well let me just talk to him and then I’ll tell you if he needs to be jacked up aight?”
“Aight. So you comin to the party right?”
“Yeah. I was supposed to be goin with Pamala but since she and O got back together I ain’t got no date.”
“Well you could meet me there if ya want. I ain’t read for all this dating shit. I want to take things slow.”
“That’s fine with me ma. Well I’ll see ya later,” Jerome said as he came to a stop in front of Kamesha’s place.
“Later,” Kamesha said before hopping out the car.
