hmmm, kann es sein das auf der Festplatte vorher NT oder 2000 oder xp lief? Wenn ja dann sind diese Festplatten meines Wissens mit dem Datei-Format NTFS "beschrieben"

Du musst dann Fdisk.exe ausführen um deiner Platte Fat32 zu geben.

Schau doch mal bei google nach dort findest du garantiert eine Fdisk Anleitung....
