Hab mir für Netzwerk und DSL eine Etherjet-PCMCIA-Karte zugelegt, weil ich dachte, IBM und IBM würde besonders gut zusammen laufen. Pustekuchen! Habe die neusten Treiber für die Karte von der IBM-Seite, und dennoch weißt Win98 der Karte die gleichen Ressourcen zu wie dem Programmierbaren Interrupt-Controller und den Motherboard-Ressourcen, und das sind genau die einzigen Einträge im Geräte-Manager, wo man nichts manuell einstellen kann. Also habe ich ein schönes gelbes Ausrufezeichen neben dem Karten-Symbol. Erkannt wird die allerdings und dann auch autmatisch installert. Wenn ich noch die manuelle Intallation von der Treiberdiskette mache, tauchen beide Karten auf, die automatisch installierte hat immer noch den Konflikt, aber im mitgelieferten Diagnose-Programm werden die Selbst-Tests bestanden. Wenn ich die automatisch eingerichtete entferne und nur die manuelle dalasse, wird beim nächsten Systemstart wieder die Karte erkannt und installiert und der Konflikt ist da! Der 32bit Card-Bus wird doch aber vom 760EL laut Handbuch unterstützt, ich hab alle Slots durchprobiert und auch wieder im 760ED von meiner Freundin getestet, gleiches Problem! Ist irgendwann noch mal damit zu rechnen, daß ich mal ein Hardwareteil erwische, das tadellos funktioniert? :-( [ Next Thread | Previous Thread | Next Message | Previous Message ]
