I hope your TP will work soon! It's usually good working "tool". Here are my tips: Try to remove the new display, connect the old one and check the boot up of you TP.

Does your TP use the same display as the broken one (46H5735)? Check all connectors and try to re-plug them. Check all mainboard connectors, especially all you removed! Maybe there is the bug! Malfunction of your whole notebook may result of such one small connectors. The best way is to check all parts you removed and put all together carefully.

Good luck and pay attention to ESD during your work.
