Ok, I'm not afraid of GM, I did the mods, and have made it through a service appointment to tell about it. lol

Personally (my suggestion)
I'd remove the stock muffler and install a flowmaster 40 series muffler. Nice sound and performance difference.

I'd install the K&N Gen II air intake. I liked this mod too, nice increase in power on the road.

Then I'd buy the Jet Performance Stage 2 chip.

Add a 180 power stat from Jet.

If you have some money left, then a real nice compliment to what you did is remove the clutch fan and replace it with the Flex-a-lite Black magic #60 fan with Temp control. Nice mod, and you really feel that one in your ass.

And finally to smooth things out add the MSD-6AL electronic ignition. I can't say that it made power, but I can tell you It really smoothed the engine out for nice smooth power the entire way to red-line.

These were my favorite of all the mods I've done. And if you see from my members page, I've done alot to my truck.

Good luck
