Date Posted: 16:02:02 07/29/02 Mon In reply to: Jack Pittillo 's message, "What made you buy a crew cab" on 15:24:19 07/29/02 Mon I've always been jealous of other countries with their availablity of small sized crew cab pick-ups. It took the USA a long time to sell them here. The birth of my son , Tach, was the reason I bought one. There was no way my wife was selling her "ragtop" and my old S-10 wouldn't accomidate us and a carseat safely. I don't need a larger vehicle most of the time and if I do I'll use my Suburban (the tow rig). When I went looking I narrowed it to the Toyota (pricey), Nissan (tinny), and Chevrolet. I had my mind set on the Nissan Frontier Supercharged (cheapest) until I checked insurance rates, imports are higher due to cost of replacement parts. The biggest selling point for me was availability of parts, both aftermarket and used. [ Next Thread | Previous Thread | Next Message | Previous Message ] |
