Subject: E poteva anche andar meglio

Certe volte il rugby è strano: Treviso gioca benissimo, ma la differenza con il Munster è evidente. Eppure, se Dumè non avesse fischiato un avanti più che controverso su Brandon Williams lanciato da solo in meta, i nostri avrebbero addirittura riportarsi sotto e prendersi il più che meritato bonus (non voglio dire altro, perchè sarebbe blasfemo).
Incredibile Viadana, che per un'ora ha messo sotto (e di brutto) il Rotherham, fino al 32-6, e poi si è fatto rimontare per gestire la partita e anche con un'espulsione diretta a Mazzantini che, quasi quasi, rovinava tutto.
Diverso il livello delle due partite, ovviamente, ma una lezione comune ci può anche stare: neanche Lor Signori sono immuni da errori e la differenza, da ultimo, la fanno soprattutto i ritmi altissimi che riescono a tenere fino in fondo, anche e soprattutto nelle fasi in cui i nostri mollano, mentalmente o fisicamente.
Treviso-Munster non sarà stata Italia-Irlanda, ma con le debite proporzioni poco ci mancava. Secondo me queste partite di Coppa hanno fornito molti insegnamenti, e Benetton l'ha capito: peccato che spesso altre squadre di casa nostra rinuncino a giocarle dall'inizio.
