It is considered courteous to say thanks when someone takes the trouble to reply to a query. Both of you ignored my reply.The P38 referred to 17 Dec 1942 at Monaghan has nothing to do with the incident at Ballyvaughan.The Ballyvaughan incident was extensivly covered in an article in FlyPast a few years ago by an excellent historian/researcher Martin Gleeson.Check it out.
