Subject: ww2 crash on cavehill

A friend of mine who lived on the Antrim Road claimed that an aircraft instrument he had came from a German bomber that had crashed on the Cavehill during ww2. However you mention a Boeing B17G that crashed in 1944. Were there any German aircraft crashsites in NI and does anything exist of the wreckage from the B17. I would appreciate any info. Thanks Nick
