"It's not that hard, really." S'har tilts a mostly-dry head to one side. "Here, let me show you." he turns to Reputh, quickly tucking each buckle into its proper place, wrapping here, cinching there, until with a final tug the straps are secure. "See? Now you try." the boy pats his dragon lightly on its side, reveling at the softness of the scales. Ready? he asks, anticipation creeping into his mental tone.

'Yes!' The browns' eyes whirl furiously, and he almost unfolds his wings until he catches himself, bringing them back to his side. But the anticipation remains, coloring his eyes a shade of vivid orange rarely found in nature.
