Splash yipped and tried to keep his balance after being pushed. As the dog left, Splash ran back to Josie's bed and lept up to curl himself back in the covers. After getting comfortable, his peace was disturbed by the door opening again.
Josie entered the apartment and knelt down onto the ground. "Splaaaaaash! Here puppy puppy puppy!" Splash's ears perked up and he lunged off the bed and stumbled clumsily over to Josie.
"Heeeyyy little guy. Ooooh I missed you too. Yes, yes."
Josie's attention was taken by another dog walking around the room.
"Um, who's that?"
