The Light unipeg wrinkles her nose and squeals softly at the bloodshed. She holds back tears at seeing the tiny body of the colt, but watches the eggs with interest. She sniffs at each one, stopping at the ivory, lavender, and gold one. She looks to the sky, should the eggs' father or attacker be present, and rolls the egg carefully, a bit away from its mother and siblings. She places her muzzle against it and rubs a bit of the blood off, then folds her feathered legs and lays alongside it. Moving it tenderly with her nose, she places the egg beneath a powder-white wing, keeping it warm as she can.
