Skip, time is all we have. Sometimes it seems to fly from us and those we love are gone. Your song captures that fleeting moment so well. Thank you for sharing.

Both my parents are passed on but they live as real and immediate as my memories. We never spend enough time with them or express ourselves as we wish we could have. But I am not regretfull, rather I am enriched by what they left in me. I honor their memory and try to live a life as they taught. Often I fall short but those are learning experiences. That is what my dad would say.

I hope your dad is fortunate enough to survive this dreaded disease. I will pray for ease for him whatever the outcome.
