First of all thanks for the reply. I took a look at the explorer with my uncle that is a mechanic for John Deere and we used the old trick of spraying carb cleaner near the gaskets in question and we did not get a change in idle speed which should mean that that gaskets are holding up fine...right? Well I took it back to the dealer and he showed me the papers stating that they know aobut the 00M12 owner recall and that they replaced the gaskets and the chain tensoiner, but I played a little hard ball and they are going to replace them again. Any other ideas if it is not the gaskets. One thing that me and my uncle found is there is a hose connected to a plunger type device near the back of the engine right on top of the intake. it almost looks like a thermostat turned on its side. My uncle seems to think that there needs to be vaccum on this line but there isnt, the regular vaccum is right where it needs to be. Any help would be very much appreciated. Thanks in Adavnce.
