I have the same model and it is doing the same thing. Those trucks have a problem with the SRS module, it senses a short in the sensor harness, which burns the thermal fuse and shuts down the system. You can not replace the fuse, you have to replace the module. That is if it is flashing code 12, if I remember correctly. Mine is taped over and I can no longer see it blink. LOL Back when I was doing that type of repair, no one I know ever actually found a short in the harness. Count the flashes and let me know, I will tell you what they mean. By the way, does the horn/cruise control work properly? If not, the clock spring may be broken.
