Subject: Cold Knocks II

The 98 F-150 has not been serviced regulary and has 60k miles. It has never overheated. The noise is a knocking sound and fades away with increased speed,40+. I live in southern cali so it does'nt get real cold but in the mornings when first started until warmed up i hear it.
