Subject: 1967 galaxie 500, 390 surging and dies when put in gear.

Had engine rebuilt two years ago. Had nothing but problems with the timming scence the day i brought it home..Knocking, detination, surging, ect.. Scence then i have put in a new rebuilt dist, and am having the same problems.. Cant get it dialed in right, and neither can the professionals. Have spent $600.00 to professionals scence rebuild to try and get timming right with no luck..
