Jason Lots of questions. Is it a stock rebild with orginal heads? Do you know the compression ratio? what gas are you useing? What Carb are you useing? Stock Cam? Flat top Pistons?
Base timming should be about 12 deg with a max total of approx 32 deg at 2500 rpm. Another problem could be the carburator going lean. Maybe its the cam timming thats off. We need more information......
