You may want to purchase a Haynes service manual for 1990-93 Accords; it's only around $15. It contains a procedure for reading the Trouble Codes stored in the car's computer. Essentially, you have to find the Service Connector, short it out, and then turn the ignition switch to ON. The Check Engine light will blink, a long blink is a 10 and a short blink is a 1. For example, one long blink and two short blinks is a Code 12 (EGR System). You need a service manual to understand the code. The Service Connector is located on the passenger side, under the dash. It's a blue, two-terminal electrical connector. If you have ever checked the timing, you know where this connector is. (I had to do some searching to find mine the first time I needed to access it). Hope this helps
