Hi Jason;

A blinking "S" light usually indicates that the A/T Control Unit has detected a fault. Your computer is located under the front passenger-side carpet, and consists of two components. The ECU and A/T Comtrol Unit.

You can check the codes on your ECU (check engine light) and the A/T Control Unit ("S" light), by shorting out the test plug and turning the ignition switch on (without starting the engine). The test plug is located under the dash on the passenger side. It's usually up in the right corner, and may be just behind the plastic kick panel. It's usually a blue connector with two wires (ORN/WHT and GRN/WHT) that is hanging loose. If you get a small jumper wire, and short the two pins together in the connector, then turn the ignition switch on (without starting the engine). The fault codes from the ECU will be displayed by the "Check Engine" light blinking, and the fault codes from the A/T Control Unit will be displayed by the "S" light blinking. One long blink equals 10, one short blink equals 1.

You might access the fault codes and post back here. I can check the manual and see what each fault code represents.

Good Luck...
Mike
