I understand your problem you are having. I dont know if your getting blinking codes on your dash or not..I must know. I have a 93 accord LX converted into Type S and is doing the same. Its a coolent sensor which is located by the water pump. I havent changed mine yet but thats what it is.. The water pump is located by the timing belt. runs off the timing belt.. Its a saftey feature on the car that makes it not allowed to start when the engine is reading to hot. When it is cooled down enough it will start. most of the time of driving what you will notice when you turn the car off after driving around the fan will kick on 1 minute after the car is off. it sences the motor and coolent is still too hot.. good luck
