I recently bought a 1987 5 speed accord, and the previous owner said that the 5th gear was removed. He also said not to shift into 5th. I have not done that yet, but i do want my 5th gear...is it easier to install the 5th gear alone, or should i install a completely new tranny?
Also, i am curious as to what engine is in the 87 accords...i know its a 2 L., but what kind of horsepower does it have, etc.?

thanks for your help
