First varify that it is the transmission that is leaking by cleaning everything and placing cardboard under the vehicle and looking closely. You may have to run the car to bring up the temp. There is a possibility of a rear main oil seal as well. My 89's has leaked for years but not enough to warrant fixing...It is a manual through.
