I was going to post this on a reply to one of my posts last week, but I think this owuld be more helpful as a post all its own...

This is a suggested method, which worked for me…

1) Remove lug nut center cap on rims (expose lug nuts)
2) Loosen lug nuts (both wheels)
3) Remove 36mm axle shaft nut
4) Jack the car up, place jack stands under car to support car
5) Remove tires off of car
6) Remove two bolts holding brake pad assembly off
7) Remove caliper holding assembly off (two bolts)
8) Behind the rotors you will see (4) smaller bolts (around the CV boot area). These will need to come off to allow the rotors to be pulled off. You will need to push the axle shaft (the one you took the 36mm bolt off of) inward while you stick a socket on the bolts. This will allow you room to actually slip a socket on the bolts. Tricky, but do-able. This will test your patience, but hang in there. You may have to turn the wheel all the way to one side to gain extra access to the bolts, and then turn it back the other way to gain access to the other side bolts.
9) Once you have those (4) bolts off you are ready to pull the rotors off. This may be tricky as well. If they have been on there for a while you will be battling rusting and other elements that have stuck them to the axle assembly. I used a rubber mallet and banged the rotors, along with pulling on the rotor with a rocking back and forth method until then gave in and let go. This took the longest time of everything.
10) At this point you can take your rotor and get them turned (machined), or re-install the new ones…
11) So do everything in reverse and you should be good to go. Of course check with the OEM specs on torqing stuff back on.

Good luck, and enjoy
