What do you mean by "You will need to push the axle shaft (the one you took the 36mm bolt off of) inward while you stick a socket on the bolts."???

This was the problem I ran into when I tried to replace the rotors the other day on my 90 Accord. The CV boot is in the way of putting a socket on thos inside bolts. Do you mean push the shaft to the side, or inward towards the car, or...?
