Hi everyone!

Yesterday, my wheel stud broke off on my 92 Accord. I took the car to the dealer and they said that replacing the wheel stud is a very costly job. Specifically, since the car has a "push on type rotor" removing the hub and the rotor might break the wheel bearing. Needless to say, I would have to pay for a new wheel bearing and for the wheel stud replacement as well. The price for all this is $260 (Canadian) without sales taxes. So, I called another company to ask how much it would cost to just replace the wheel stud, they told me that the amount of labour required is ~1.8 hrs ($65/hr) however, they also told me a different story from the honda dealership. They said that replacing the wheel stud would require replacing the rotor itself. Total price for the job is ~ $210 (Canadian). As a result I took the car to another service center and yet again another story. Instead of replacing the components as mentioned above, they said that replacing the wheel stud would cost about ~ $115 (canadian) and that replacing any another components is not necessary. Who do I believe? Is replacing a wheel stud that much of a problem? The part cost me $1.47 and labour is an unbelieveable price of $115. Is the service centres playing me for a fool? Who should I trust? Any suggestions?

Thanks!!!
