Good to be back. Wish I couls spend more time on the site, but I have been extremely busy as of late. I found a TV-A at my local salvage yard. The car I pulled it from had 104k on it. My toughts were that first then new. I don't believe I will be driving this car for more then another year, so putting money into it now is more a factor for me.

That is funny that you mention that one of the lines into it is for the FIU. I have noticed on the "cold" days when the car does not work properly on start up, once the car warms up the idle does not drop off. Usually as the choke releases in stages, the idle responds with it, but a few times I have noticed that the idle does not drop until I hit the fuel pedal. I suppose the choke may be sticking a little, but since this valve also opens the choke, it sounds like with certainty, I have probably located the source of my cars subtle problem.

I am guessing with this additional information your thoughts are in line with mine.

Mike
