Need more info. Is the engine overheating? If a lot of coolant leaks out, it certainly will, but if there is enough coolant in the system and the temp guage reads still reads low, cooling fan may not come on. Fan is designed to kick on when coolant reaches 90 degrees C. Have you tried hot-wiring the fan to see if it is working? There is a specific trouble-shooting procedure for this problem. If you need help, let me know.
