Within the past two months, the car has started to run hot when I am going uphill. I have put water in the radiator, which solved the problem, but for only 2 weeks. I haven't noticed any steam coming from any hoses, so does this mean my radiator might be on its way out? Also, my car randomly puts out a cloud of oil smoke when I start it in the morning. It doesn't give out smoke while driving, just when it is started. Would this indicate an oil leak around the engine or is it a gasket leak? I have had different mechanics tell me a variety of different stories. One says I need a new oil pan while others tell me old cars burn more oil and that the car is fine.
Any help or ideas out there?
Thanks
