You don't have to take the axles apart. The best way to get the axle out is to take the bolt out of the pinch fork and the damper pinch bolt(where the fork attatches to the strut). Using a bearing puller to seperate lower balljoint off the arm, then Swing the Knuckle fwd. You'll have plenty of room to get the axle in and out
