I have used Saxon Math before with an older daughter. Now I am in a Charter cyber school and their curriculum of choice is Saxon. Now I remember why I really don't like it... It is tedious, time consuming and boring. Let's learn a concept and get on to the next one and not be-labour the issue! My 6th grader was placed into 5/6 Saxon and she has already had almost all the concepts already, except for percentages. Her previous curriculum was Bob Jones Press for conventional schools(for the last 3 years). They seem to cover a lot of material. Abeka is also excellent.
