I remember those Thursday nights in the Dorm and on the strip.

Well.......actually, I don't remember a lot of it.

But.....at any rate, tomorrow it's time to party!

The strip? Did you go to UNLV?

Course Fridays were always the party day in Grad School, certainly was more logical, but also wilder. We always started out with a volley-ball game and a couple of kegs followed by pool party at a prof's house with another's special 'brownies' for dessert.

Havn't had a "special brownie" in so long. LOL! *sigh*

So, you got a lot done on the fence? How much more is left?

Naw, didn't go to UNLV, went to OSU. the strip was a block of bars that I frequented often.

It sounds like grad school was a blast.

My grad school days were at Texas A&M, and yeah they were a blast. Not sure if other departments on campus were as close and as wild as our Geology Department. Actually, it such behavior finally got two professors on probation and one left, but that was long after I was gone....

Nah, never get done on the fence row. You finish up one section one year, the next the next, and so forth and so on..... Nature is constantly trying to reclaim everything on our farms.....

That's interesting Lijdrec; didn't know. Wow, another Aggie. and it's getting closer to football season. should be a good year for the Big Twelve.

always hated repairing fence, especially in the heat. the beer drink afterwards though was always pretty fun.

Just overgrown from years of neglect by the previous owners, who owned my mother's farm from 1804-1969 when dad bought it. The fence-rows are more like the hedgerows of Normandy, only without the hedge and with larger trees that we occasionally harvest for timber. Then there are all the other smaller trees and brambles and briars that come up on the edges and that's what has to be taken out. Do the same thing around the field edges that border the woods....

GO AGGIES.!.!.!.!
