Subject: "Ok its time for aimless ramblings because I don't have time to organize my thoughts

Well Its been a while. I know I've been gone for a while. I blame it on the Demons. You know the ones that inhabit the town right outside the rogue's camp. The little blue ones, they have one big chief who shoots fire at you and they try to gang up on you but when you kill one the others run away. Yeah those demons. Well that and large quantities of Oatmeal. God I hate Oatmeal. In fact I think I'm now biased against all oat products. Luckily Corn is still safe. Wheat is geting pretty dangerous too.

Ok we haven't had much Xander talk in a while. Hehe I know Terri you were prolly enjoying that. Well tough. I wanna talk Xander. First off I'm finally seeing some good Xander spoilers out there. No I'm not talking about BX stuff...yet. Just some stuff that shows Xander being treated with some serious thought as a character by the writers.

Here is one spoiler I saw. Yeah I know this was posted here before but.....

NEW - After making some serious cash by rebuilding the high school, Xander gains some style and cool and the fun, witty Xander of earlier seasons is revived.


Syle AND cool. My God whatever will we do? I don't think I'll be able to handle a Xander that isn't constantly either making fun of himself or being made a fool of by others. Seriously this makes me happy. I just hope Oracle isn't over exagerating.

And whats all this about His Construction Company. We are really getting the full on Grown up Xander. As I was discussing with someone. I see this as a very valuable concept. He and Buffy would make a great financial team. See Buffy goes in finds the demon. She kills the demon. In the process destroying much property. And then Xander gets the contract to fix all the damage. Thus making a nice profit from the slaying buffy did, Now if we just got Willow in to offer Demon Insurance to the town of Sunnydale they would have the money situation locked down. And Dawn...Dawn could be Bait. :)

Spike and Anya could be the demons Buffy kills... heheh just kidding.

But seriuosly. To this point the stuff i'm seeing about Xander has lifted my spirits some. Especially stuff about episode 2 which sounds much like Xander will be playing an intricate part in it. And he will actually know someone outside the group. Plus the Title "Beneath me" Oh that brings up wonderful happy memories about the good ol days when Buffy wouldn't touch Spike period. And the fact we have what sounds like a Girl who has broken it off with a guy who can't seem to take a hint... I like how that parallels with the former relationship with Buffy and Spike. Of course it could also connect with Xander and Anya but then I don't have any problem with them knocking that relationship either.
But I really am seeing the return to the old way they did things, and that makes me happy even if Spike has to be there.

Ok I have some other stuff to do but I hope to continue this later.

Throw me some stuff back, more to talk about.

Well, I agree with you that I've been hearing things will be more upbeat for all our heros (including Spike;) Back to monster of the week (the Tremors-type worm in Beneath Me - pretty cool, but then I'm a tremors fan), and the big bads returning. It's about damn time Xander has style and cool. I really hope he is able to act like he did at the end of The Zeppo (please, please, on my knees here!!) because then he would be an appealing, integral part of the show. *NEXT COMMENT EDITED BY BOARD DADDY*

I'm hopeful for next season. But I'm also thinking I will only like about half of the shows. It really sounds like there will be many Dawn-centric shows to line her up for whatever. Not happy about that.

But, all in all, happy here. :-)

Xander could have the monoply on rebuilds after Buffy goes hunting. Have to cut her in for a share though. *g*

It's about time that Xander has some screen time. And from the spoilers, it does sound like Joss is trying to bring the show back on track.

Although I'm with Phae about the Dawn-centric stuff; and yeah, probably about half of the ep.s. But that still leaves room for some kissass Buffy ep.s, and if the spoilers are accruate then much more Xander. Afterall, he did save the world.

What's wrong with oatmeal? I like that stuff. esp with fruit in it... Mmmmm... fruit.

Where are these Demons? I have a bone to pick with one named N'astrysh. He burned down my house when I was gone. I'm pretty sure he looted the place first though. Needless to say I wasn't too happy about it, and I'm still not.

BTW, when do thoughts have to be organized? I find that the world actually makes more sense when my thoughts are not organized. Well, at least it makes sense to me and helps me explain the mysteries of the universe.

Mmmmmmm.. Oatmeal..... with blueberries..

Especially after a long day and I'm tired but not sleepy yet. I'll sing a mermaid song tonight, but quietly. Prolly not loud enough for everyone to hear, consciously. :)

Gawd, the weekend just can't get here fast enough for me!
