Subject: Bandai DBZ Ultimate Action Figure Series. FLAWED! (txt)

Well,

got a HLJ haul recently and among them were 2 of the new Bandai DBZ Ultimate Action Figure Series, Vegeta and Vegito.

Aside from the unpainted joints (the swing out shoulder in plain off white nylon looks terrible) there's a major flaw with these.

Because of the swing up shoulders (a la the later Jojo figures) neither of the figures I got can move their shoulders up without popping the clip on shirts off.

Granted this is to be expected w/ the large shoulder pad Vegeta, but Vegito has the almost sleeveless standard Z-fighter shirt and that can't stay on either if you move the shoulders even a few degrees upward.

Not real cool. From the looks of the rest of the line, the only figure that will be able to move his arms much w/ the shirt on is SS Vegeta (w/the small shoulder straps.)

Everyone else seems to be poseable only w/ shirt off (as illustrated on the card back, were not one figure is in an action pose w/ the shirt on.

This shirt problem, the lack of painted joints, and lack of double jointed knees or shoulders make these figures a bit disappointing.
