I think most of this is coming from brainwashed Hasbroites trying to come up with reasons why the all-pastic version is superior.

It's certainly conceivable that the paint could scratch, but I haven't heard any legitamite reports of it happening yet.

Regardless, I can't wait to get my hands of this puppy (and Masterpiece Prime).
