Subject: Another thing I don't get . . .

Bush got us into the war based on a congressional resolution which allowed him to use whatever force necessary . . . blah, blah, blah . . . in other words, it wasn't a declaration of war as required by the Constitution, but those who have defended the legality of this war have often cited this resolution.

Recenlty, the house passed a resolution condemning the war and demanding our withdrawal from Iraq. Okay, so it didn't pass the senate, but that's not the point. Bush had already made up his mind beforehand that it didn't matter what the outcome of this resolution was, he was still going to do what he was going to do.

How come the first resolution was a good enough reason to go into the war, but the second one wasn't a good enough reason to pull out? Sounds like the actions of a tyrant, not a president.
