I wasn't ignoring you about the video. No, I haven't seen it. I'd be interested in watching it, though.
I have to admit, the position of the Church confuses me. When I read President Hinckley's "War and Peace" talk, which was more confusing than anything, I wonder if he even pays any attention to the Constitution. Not only does he seem to ignore the fact that the war was illegal to beging with, which to me seems like it should be a big deal with the membership of the Church who have been repeatedly told to study and uphold the Constitution, but to then hear him refer to our form of government as a democracy . . . ugh. Yes, I regard him as a prophet, but he did say that he was speaking his own feelings. Those things bother me terribly. Which honestly makes me skeptical about the church's position on the war in the first place.
